Raiders Return to HMS Sultan Summer ShowIt has been at least a couple of seasons since the RN Raiders Displayed at HMS Sultan, in Gosport. This year the Raiders return to the annual 'Summer Show'. What is the Summer Show?HMS Sultan is a Tri-Service Training Establishment and is home to the Royal Navy School of Marine Engineering and the Defence College of Air Engineering. The Establishment primarily provides training for Royal Navy personnel to join the Fleet and Fleet Air Arm (FAA). Every year HMS Sultan holds a massive Show and invites all members of the local community in to see many military and local attractions. These attractions include military displays in the 'main arena which is where the Raiders will be landing on both days of the show. The Show will be on during the weekend of the 23rd - 24th June 2007. The Raiders can be seen displaying from the Black Cats Royal Navy Helicopter Display Team's Lynx aircraft, prior to the commencement of their Display. |
